Abstract
Non-aqueous dispersion of polymer resin is a new kind of anti-weathering consolidant for earthen buildings and archaeological sites, it has good effect when used to consolidate loess samples and archaeological sites. The material was tested to consolidate sandy soil samples in this work. The sandy soil samples treated by low concentration of non-aqueous dispersion has little change in weight and color, has good results in water decomposition test, freezing-thaw test and salt tolerance test. It proves that non-aqueous dispersion is suitable for consolidate sandy soil buildings and archaeological sites.
