Abstract
A pad batch bath method of dye fixation on cotton fabric is described. The method requires the fabrics to be padded with a solution of dye, Glauber salt, and hydrochloric acid, and then rolled and stored in polyethylene covers. Discussion of the crease recovery, tensile strength, and fastness properties of the fabric after treatment is included. See also 20-544 and 20-546. -- AATA
