Abstract
Preparation of methylolated dye that can react with cellulose under acid conditions is described. Optimal conditions for application are examined. Incorporation of N-methylol finishing agents in the dyeing bath to establish a one step finishing and dyeing is outlined. Evaluation of dyeing and dyed finished goods is also included.
