Abstract
In 1874 a large barrow on the coast of Sunnmore, Norway, was excavated by amateurs. From the time of discovery the find, mainly consisting of decorated slab fragments from one or several grave cists, has remained a puzzle in Norwegian archaeology. This account is an attempt to reconsider the find. -- AATA
