Abstract
Medieval ceramics produced at Scarborough, Nottingham, and Lincoln are characterized by mineralogically similar aplastic inclusions, predominantly quartz. However, the fabrics may be differentiated on the basis of the grain-size distributions of the quartz grains, examined in thin-section. -- AATA
