A new technique is employed in which thermoluminescence dosimetry is used for the alpha components of the annual dose as well as for the beta and gamma components; also, the need for external calibration of radioisotope source is eliminated. Dates are reported for samples from seven sites, associated radiocarbon results being given for five of them.
