Four clay specimens and 20 sherds collected in the Tokoname and Atsumi regions of the Aichi prefecture were analyzed for trace and minor elements by the neutron activation analysis. The elements barium, calcium, cobalt, iron, and rubidium were found to be useful in differentiating the sherds, found in the above two regions. The correlation diagrams for barium-rubidium, barium-cobalt, and rubidium-cobalt were made, and barium was found to be most useful. -- AATA
