Rubidium and strontium in the Sue (reducing firing) and Haji (oxidizing firing) wares excavated in the Yokoesho site were determined by x-ray fluorescence, and sodium and manganese by neutron activation analysis. By comparing the data with those of the sherds from the kiln sites in the Ishikawa prefecture the Sue wares of the Yokoesho site were found to have been supplied by the southern Kaga, the northern Kaga-southern Noto, and the Kanazawa groups.
