Abstract
The authors present photos detailing certain morphological details of silica (SiO<sub>2</sub>) structures present in plant tissues, in this case rice husk, rice straw and sugarcane leaves. Phytoliths were extracted from organic material by acid reflux and combustion at 700-800° C. -- AATA
