Based upon a series of teaching cards produced by ICCROM as teaching aides for its course participants. Subjects pertinent to the understanding and measurement of relative humidity are developed. Discussed are the sources of humidity in the air and the terms which are relevant to humidity measurement. Instruments for both spot measurements and for continuous recordings of levels are described. Pycnometric or hygrometric chart interpretation is also explained. -- AATA
