Abstract
Carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy appears to be a suitable technique for the analysis of cellulose ethers. Simple statistical models afford a good description of the analytical data, and may in turn be used for the description of the monomer composition and the distribution of substituents along the polymer chain. -- AATA
