This index of ¹⁴C dates for maritime finds was compiled at the Archaeological Research Centre of the National Maritime Museum. The information has been taken from published journals, such as <i>Radiocarbon</i> and <i>Science</i>, and from other sources. Dates are arranged alphabetically by site name within countries, countries being grouped into broad geographical regions. Dates BP with the error range and laboratory reference are given, as well as the location, type and material of the find and the main references concerning the publication of the site. It is intended that supplements to the list should be published periodically. -- AATA
