Abstract

A model of chromatic adaptation is extended to an adapting field with a light grey background. Its formulation and computational procedure are described in detail. Four effects are predicted, two of which were obtained by changing the adapting luminance. For related study, see IIC Abstracts 5-4124. -- AATA
