Abstract
Examination of the condition of the Hasholme logboat, North Humberside, England, to determine the level and extent of any deterioration and its possible implications in the choice of conservation method. Moisture content profiles, nominal specific gravity determinations, and a Pilodyn survey of the antique vessel were carried out. Soft rot activity was evaluated but no evidence of such attack was found. See also AATA 29-693.
