Abstract
There is considerable evidence of diverse musical activities during the Roman period in Germany. Although primart sources are often lacking there is considerable iconographic evidence as well as several finds of original instruments. There are several important finds which demonstrate the broad scope of the musical life of this period. See 18-1076. -- AATA
