A description of how adobe walls of an old Spanish mission are preserved by environmentally controlled enclosures. In addition, archeologists found that re-creating a plaster-like material of similar composition to the original Spanish plaster was a more effective sealant for large structures exposed to the elements than using modern commercial plaster. -- AATA
