Abstract
The main hall's reputation for superb acoustics resulted, in part, from its basic shape and interior finishes. Retaining and improving where necessary this desirable sound environment involved special acoustical treatments to maintain reverberation characteristics and a low ambient noise level within the space. See 18-909 and 18-1096. -- AATA
