Abstract
The <sub>14</sub>C content was determined in pine tree-ring samples collected between 1688 and 1712 as well as between 1850 and 1940 using a 2-channel scintillation apparatus. Annual variation was observed in <sub>14</sub>C content of the samples with a tendency of a gradual decrease with time. The average decrease in <sub>14</sub>C content per year was 0.02-0.03%. -- AATA
