A brief list of 25 species of plant roots, stems, fruits and flowers identified among 28 specimens of plant remains ranging in date from the predynastic period to the Roman period in the Egyptian collection of the Manchester Museum. The date and provenance of the specimens is taken from the museum inventory, but the identifications were made after examination by the author. Three samples of unknown resins are also mentioned. -- AATA
