Abstract
Analysis by neutron activation of 40 sherds of pottery from Kahun. A group labelled by Petrie as foreign was isolated by the cluster analysis of the data. Attempts to find the origin of this fabric were not successful. Two other groups, a marl clay type, and a Nile alluvium type were also found. The alluvium samples were subjected to further statistical analyses and some sub-groups were identified. -- AATA
