Abstract
74 artifacts were analyzed by emission spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction. The data were analyzed by cluster analysis. Groups were isolated but they did not corrrespond with the typology of the pottery. However, there was some correlation between composition and the find location. Thus, the funeral offerings were grouped together but the pottery from the Mastaba fill was more heterogeneous in its composition. -- AATA
