The article describes how an exhibition of historic photographs was presented within a very short time on a very low budget. The entire work was done using locally available resources. Archival quality mount boards and frames were made in situ and the illumination levels and environmental parameters in the exhibition space were controlled by indigenous methods without compromising the quality or safety
