Abstract
An account of the relocation and renovation or a timber-framed warehouse (known to have been in existence in 1828) in St. Katharine's Docks, London, UK. One-third of the original building was retained and sufficient timber, identified as European redwood (Pinus sylvestris), was salvaged from the rest of the structure for new works, repairs and strengthening in the renovated building. -- AATA
