Abstract
There was no significant difference in the rate of water ahsorption (atmospheric humidity or liquid water) by Pinus <1sylvestris sapwood either untreated or treated with a CCA preservative (Boliden K33). The equilibrium moisture content at 75 or 85% RH and 20°C was somewhat higher for CCA-treated than for untreated wood. -- AATA
