Discusses in general terms the methods of expressing the effectiveness of wood preservatives. Results of tests on a range of preservative combinations using <1Trametes versicolor and Coniophora cerebella are reported and analyzed. Synergistic and antagonistic effects, and the stimulating action of low concentrations of preservatives are discussed. -- AATA
