Abstract
The bamboo slips of East Wu (Three kingdoms) unearthed from Zoumalou, Changsha, the number of which are about 100,000, need at least more than ten years for dehydrating. At present, the damages of molds have occurred, and some are serious. In order to protect the bamboo from mold attacks, the molds on the bamboo slips were analyzed. Based on the characters of the bamboo slips in water, the antiseptics and sterile agents that are suitable for them were selected, for example glycines aqueous solution, izothiazolone etc. This research is mainly aimed at the antisepsis of the bamboo slip from Zoumalou, but because of the similarity in antisepsis between waterlogged bamboo slips and lacquer wares, the antisepsis of lacquer wares were also experimented based on their properties, and got good effects.
