Abstract
Reverse migration is found when polymer solution been used to consolidate cultural relics. Based on the properties of the consolidant, the materials been consolidated and the interaction between them during consolidation process, the reason of reverse migration was discussed. Some suggestions for abating the reverse migration are also given. -- MCI
