Antique storeroom is the heart of a museum. The standards for storeroom involve place selection, design, layout and equipment, all in consideration of long term conservation. The selection of its place should be carried strictly according to the rules of Hazard Scale Code, its environ should be secure and hygienic. Its construction should take the standard against the first scale hazardness and strong earthquakes, and should be convenient and safe for transferring the reliques. It is preferred to choose the central part of the third or fourth floor of the building for storeroom, with double corridors. The area should be 120m2 for first class storeroom, or 120-200m2 for second or third class ones; net height [less than] 3m, live load [less than] 4kN/m2, temperature 12-18[degree]C, humidity 55%-65%, and its entrance with wind-shower passage.
