Abstract
This article discusses the use of a Japanese mulberry paper with a basic filler <i>(uda, for example) as a lining for works of art on ground wood pulp paper. The result of this treatment is a non-deleterious, mild buffering of the support plus the natural strengthening of the work of art derived from the secondary support. The article includes a description of the experimentation done to determine the effects of this treatment.
