From an ancient Turkish Greco-Roman city, a large number of sculptures has been recovered, reassembled, and restored. The article pictures some of the restoration problems and methods. Aphrodisians were Greek copyists, but their work exhibits excellence and vitality. Only a small portion of the site has been excavated. -- AATA
