This paper presents the results of combined stylistic and x-ray fluorescence analysis of Minoan faience. The objects include pieces from the Town Mosaic, the Temple Repository Cists, and the Throne Room at Knossos. The XRF anallysis confirms stylistic conclusions about the homogeneity and historical development of the Aegean faience industry. It also contributes to a more complete understanding of the Minoan innovation of polychrome faience.
