Struers metallographical magazine, Structure, was started in January 1981, and has to date appeared in 17 issues with ever-increasing circulation and in more and more languages. We have a regular demand for previous editions which have nearly all gone out. We have therefore made this book which contains all essential articles from Structure No. 1 to No. 12 inclusive. As the oldest articles are 6-7 years old, they may naturally have been overtaken by recent events on some points, but by and large they constitute relevant reading. We have made two indexes to make the practical use of the book easier: one puts the title of individual articles in chronological order under preparation sections such as cutting, embedding, grinding, polishing, etc. whilst the other is an alphabetical list of materials which refers to all the articles where the relevant material is dealt with.
