Abstract
The ring electrographic technique has been employed to measure the composition of nine silver Indian coins thought to have been circulated in the period between 800-200 BC. The elemental ratios for the elements silver, copper, iron, nickel, antimony, lead, arsenic and tin have been used to suggest a relative chronological sequence for the nine coins.
