West Dean College in Sussex has been devoted to the teaching of arts and crafts for over a decade, but the core of the work done at the college is primarily in the study of the conservation and restoration of decorative objects. There is a one-year course of study in porcelain and oneand two-year courses in clocks and furniture. The reproduction of antique musical instruments may be studied for three years. At the present time, courses in precious metals and paper are under consideration. -- AATA
