Abstract
Neutron activation analyses of 94 pieces of pottery from Ashdod, Israel, has established the presence of three closely-related local composition groups among the pottery. Quartz temper, clay and heavy minerals were also analyzed from field clay samples, and the effects of varying amounts of these in the pottery upon trace element concentrations are discussed. -- AATA
