The Manchester Museum, of the University of Manchester, Manchester, England, has undertaken comprehensive examination of Egyptian mummies, primarily by radiological survey and dissection. This included dentition and serological studies, examination of soft tissue, endoscopy, radiocarbon dating of the bones and bandages, and identification of parasites by electron microscopy. -- AATA
