Abstract
A meeting on paleopathology focused upon metabolic and congenital diseases of the skeleton, infectious diseases of the skeleton, and soft tissue paleopathology. The study of the skull discussed in this paper was featured in the session on metabolic and congenital diseases. A tentative date is given for the skull and the condition of the bone is described. Specific lesions indicate that the child suffered from scurvy, suggesting a non-traditional diet. -- AATA
