Abstract
In the course of restoration and conservation of some important brick buildings of particular architectural value, a method of restoration was tested for carrying out the desalting, damp-proofing and consloidation of the brickwork of the walls. We report some results of laboratory tests, preventive analyses, techniques of intervention, controls and working hypotheses.
