Abstract
The experiments were carried out on Baumberger sandstone and Regensburger green sandstone and were compared with pure dolomite. Reaction rate of sulfuric acid with calcareous sandstone proceeds rapidly to complete dissolution of carbonatic cement or to consumption of the acid.
