Abstract
Description of the materials of the façade and of the types of decay: erosion, crust and skin exfoliation, decohesion, alveoles. Infrared temperature survey after a rain, chemical analysis by means of infrared spectroscopy and microbiological analysis were carried out. Three experimental treatments -- with the products Xylochimie N. 821, Rhône Poulenc XR 54802 Silane, Epoxy Solvanté Sinmast 28/15 -- are described and the results given; none seems to be satisfactory.
