Abstract
Using the results of an autoradiographic examination of Rembrandt's paintings, the author studies how Rembrandt's painting method closely parallels his technique in other media. The examination revealed similarities in the way Rembrandt achieved effects such as tonal variations and suggestions of texture, and dealt with changes in composition. See also AATA 19-1584. -- AATA
