Abstract
Specimens of 99.999% Cu were exposed to 1N H<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> and to 1N H<sub>2</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> containing 10<sub>-4</sub>M 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. Corrosion was studied by measurements of weight loss, corrosion potential and anodic polarisation. -- AATA
