Abstract
Black crystals and white crystals found on tin pannikins lost in Boundary Falls, Winnipeg River, Ontario, between 1801 and 1821 were identified as SnO (romarchite) and stannous oxide hydrate (hydroromarchite) respectively. The mineral names relate to Royal Ontario Museum Archaeology. -- AATA
