Abstract
In 1974-75 the authors carried out investigations of the sinter forms in the Koneprusy Case in the Bohemium Karst. Five fundamental generations were classified in the cave; i.e., the floor sinter, stalagmites and various calcite forms such as aggregates, druses, shrubs, corallites, rosettes, straw stalactites, eccentric forms and stalactites on roofs and walls. It was found that the effect of refining is of importance and that it may be used to advantage in a more exact classification of individual calcite forms in the succession of calcite filling in the caves.
