Abstract
Definition of elastic constants of wood. Propagation of ultrasounds and measurement of their speed in microcarots of 5mm in diameter allow to test small samples. For now a good correlation exists between these values and the ones obtained in traditional way, needing a much larger sample. More research needed to obtain absolute values.
