Abstract
The changes in the supermolecular structure and the morphology of cotton fibers caused by the practical treatment of cotton fabrics with liquid ammonia are investigated with the aid of x-ray and sorption measurements and examination of the fiber cross section. The results are compared with the corresponding data of mercerized fabrics. -- AATA
