Abstract
Recent research on the technical aspects of the adobe architectural reliefs at the site of Chan Chan, Peru, (the capital of the empire of Chimor, which flourished on the north coast of Peru, 10th-15th centuries) has yielded new evidence with which to assess conflicting relative sequences for the construction of the <i>ciudadelas</i>, believed to have been the palaces, as well as the mortuary structures, of the Chimor kings of the Chimu culture. -- AATA -- CAL
