The Princes Risborough Laboratory (PRL) has been advising on the restoration of the carved ceiling in the House of Lords at the Palace of Westminster, London. Much of the structural and decorative woodwork had become brittle and lost its strength. The decayed structural timber has been replaced while attempts are being made to conserve the decorative work by impregnation with epoxy resins. -- AATA
