Abstract
The construction of a diamond-tipped scraper and a sample-collector, used together for taking minute fragments from museum objects. The fragment, detached by the scraper, is drawn up a tube by gentle suction and caused to fall into a small bottle or onto a slide. Both instruments are primarily for use on metallic or other dense material.
