In an extensive review of the fitting out of one of the oldest surviving European style buildings in Australia as an historic house museum, the author pays particular attention to the fabrication of exact copies of objects documented as belonging to the original owners. The replication of objects ranging from marble inkwells (colored resin) to portraits (photographs brushed with lacquer) is described in detail. -- AATA
